Following
are some words and verses I have enjoyed
I hope you do also.
...............
I'M FREE.
........
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm
free;
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand
when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or
play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found a peace at
close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered
joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these
things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine
of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savoured much.
Good friends, good
times, a loved one's touch.
Lift up your hearts and share with
me.
God wanted me now.
He set me free.

He who loses wealth, loses much;
He who loses a friend, loses
more,
But he who loses courage, loses all

DON'T WEEP FOR ME.
Don't weep for me I hear
you say,
I don't lie here within.
My shell resides below this
earth,
My soul is in the wind.
Weep not for me, I am not here.
My voice is in the
trees.
Look up, into the skies above,
Like clouds I wander
free.
So don't stand here beside my grave,
Don't weep nor pine for
me.
Remember all those happy times,
The things that used to
be.
I am not here, I'm all around.
I am the wind, the
rain.
Remember me as all these things.
Until we meet again.

PASSING ON
When we lose the ones we love,
it
leaves an empty space.
within our hearts, and life seems
vain,
For none can take their place.
And oh, we long to catch a glimpse
of that dear face now
gone,
and hear again that loving voice,
now raised in Heaven's
song.
But if we could pull back the veil,
and see beyond our
shore,
Then we would see them yet again
but just through
yonder door.
And as we grieve,
they'd raise their hand to wipe our tears
,
For they now see and understand,
that there's no cause for
fears.
For death is just a passing on
through yet another
door,
where they are welcomed home again,
to dwell for ever
more.

THE ROSE
Some say love,
it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love,
it is a razor that
leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love,
it is a hunger, an
endless aching need
I say love,
it is a flower and you it's
only seed.
It's the heart
afraid of breaking that never learns to
dance
It's the dream
afraid of waking that never takes a
chance
It's the one
who won't be taken ,who cannot seem to
give
And the soul
afraid of dying that never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too
long
And you think that love is only ,
for the lucky and the
strong
Just remember in the winter,
far beneath the bitter
snows
Lies the seed
that with the sun's love
in the
spring
Becomes the rose.

DEATH IS NOTHING AT ALL
Death is nothing at
all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I, and
you are you,
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
in this easy way you always
used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of
solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes,
we always
enjoyed together,
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let
my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort,
without the ghost of a shadow
on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it
ever was,
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is death but a
negligent accident.
Why should I be out of mind,
because I am
out of sight.
I am just waiting for you,
somewhere very near...
Just
around the corner...
All is well."
