I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND. I FOLLOWED YOU AT THE MESO DIGEST. I LOST BOTH PARENTS TO MESO. MOM THE MOST RECENTLY IN 2003. SHE DIED FROM SECOND HAND EXPOSURE. FROM DOING DADS LAUNDRY. THERE WERE 7 SIBLINGS. I ALWAYS ASK,,WHAT IS OUR FATE? WE HELPED TO DO THE LAUNDRY ALSO. TO DIE FROM DOING YOUR JOB AS A WIFE, WOMEN, MOTHER WAS SO UNFAIR. THEY LEAVE BEHIND 7 GRIEVING CHILDREN,,AND SO MANY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE THAT LOVED AND CARED FOR THEM. I WILL NEVER STOP MISSING OR NEEDING THEM. THANKS FOR LISTENING. AND MY SYMPATHIES TO YOU. I lost my dear husband of 15 years to asbestos cancer. I am now with a dear man whom I think might have it later because he said his doctor says he has bad scar tissue on his lungs and he has sleep apnoea . After reading some of your stories and especially your shipyard site, it has me worried. He was in the Navy in the 60's for about 4 years in Conn. They will not let him join the veterans because they said he made just a little bit over the amount to sign up for veterans benefits. I wish someone could help us with this. He thinks Obama might help the vets who are not signed up for this be able to sign up for it now. I think it is terrible that some vets can sign up and some can't, like him, saying they make a few dollars too much on his TVA pension now. So sorry for your loss now but you will be re-uted with your Thom someday. He is in a better place waiting for you and more to join him someday. We all will be one happy family over there. Thanks for posting your site. It might help Luke to check in to some places to help him and I certainly want him to have a chest xray too. Take care, dear friend, Joyce Nall
